N8768Y, Serial Number 30-1924, is a beautiful, late model 1969 PA30C Twin Comanche that has been converted to a counter-rotating (C/R) Rajay turbocharger-equipped aircraft. In 1970, when Piper equipped the C model with counter-rotating (C/R) engines, the model designation was changed to PA-39 and the airplane became known as the Piper Twin Comanche C/R and only 155 were manufactured before production of the Twin Comanche ceased. This airplane has not flown regularly since 2011 but most recently had an annual in 2019. It has always been hangared, is remarkably clean, and it is sure to provide the new owner with years of dependable service.
